WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?
In California, we’ve all but forgotten about Obama, McCain, and that hackey maam that McCain is running against or something and seems to get a lot of attention. While the rest of the nation glosses over important issues to discuss the newest and latest crazy words out of Palin’s mouth, we here in CA are glossing over a ton of interesting stuff for fear that THEM GAYZ might be marrying.
Ok, ok I admit it–Prop 8 is fascinating and has somehow managed to effect my personal life quite a bit. I expect it to generate some interesting discussion here. However there’s a lot of other stuff on the ballot that is interesting, vital issues that don’t have to do with who gets to marry who (TRAINSTRAINSTRAINSTRAINSTRAINS), and potential scandals brewing that deserves a look.
